Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit Services
GCE maintains the contract for conducting quarterly wastewater sampling for the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS)–Yuma, Industrial Facilities. The sampling is conducted in ac-cordance with the Significant User Industrial Discharge Permit (IDP) issued by the City of Yuma. Services provided by GCE as part of this contract include:
♦ Conducting compliance sampling at all permitted MCAS industrial outfalls. The sampling is conducted in accordance with the approved SAP and QAPP and includes both grab and composite samples.
♦ Ensuring that sampling data meets quality control standards and is in compliance with the industrial discharge permit.
♦ Preparing quarterly groundwater sampling reports that document field activities, summarize laboratory data, and identify any difficulties encountered.
♦ Providing recommendations to optimize treatment techniques and to correct any problems that were identified.
♦ Calibrating flow meters and reporting calibration data as required by the permit.
GCE has successfully managed the Industrial Discharge Permit sampling for MCAS-Yuma for multiple years, providing a clear example of GCE’s ability to interface with regulatory agencies, manage wastewater compliance projects, and effectively implement environmental sampling programs. This project was conducted within the limits of the original budget, and is consistently completed in accordance with established permit deadlines.
